In this respect three conditions have to be met: Firstly, do we understand the basic process. We are very strict to limit ourselves to process-steps we know from experience. Not understanding the basic process itself and its ties and strings attached is to run the risk of losing valuable turnaround time and miss out on fundamental aspects of it (process). As a rule of thumb the process should include: sales – (production) – logistics – (installation).

Secondly: the process must be fruitful. We must be able to grasp why this product or service would fulfil a customer’s need. It must be clear what it is that makes it so unique and what it differentiates from the competition.
